Terms of Use
Draft — to be reviewed before release. This text has not yet been checked by a lawyer and is not legal advice. It will be replaced by a reviewed version before Leekday is released.
1. Who we are
Leekday is a meal-planning app operated by [operator name, address, Austria] ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [contact email].
2. What Leekday does
Leekday suggests meal plans, recipes and shopping lists based on what you tell us: your body measurements, goal, diet, allergies, preferences and the food in your pantry. Plans and recipes are created with the help of artificial intelligence.
3. Not medical or nutritional advice
Leekday gives general suggestions only. It does not replace advice from a doctor, dietitian or other health professional.
- Always check ingredients yourself, especially if you have a food allergy or intolerance. AI-generated recipes can contain mistakes, and product ingredients can change.
- Calorie and nutrient figures are estimates.
- If you are pregnant, have a medical condition or an eating disorder, or are under 18, talk to a health professional before changing your diet.
4. Your account
- You need an account to save your profile and plans. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Keep your password safe and do not share your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- You can turn on two-factor authentication for extra protection.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Privacy → Delete account).
5. Households
You can share plans, the pantry and shopping lists with other people in a household. Everyone in a household can see the household's plans, pantry and lists, and each member's display name, diet, food allergies and portion size. Only invite people you trust. If you leave or delete your account, the household stays with its other members.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Leekday. In particular, do not:
- try to get around limits, security measures or access controls;
- upload content that is illegal, harmful or that you have no right to share;
- use Leekday to send spam or to harass anyone;
- copy, resell or automatically collect content from the app.
We may limit or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
7. Content
Your profile, pantry and lists stay yours. You let us store and process them to run the service for you and your household. Recipes and images created in the app may be shown to other users as general, non-personal examples.
8. Availability and changes
Leekday is currently free while in beta. We work to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or end features. If we change these terms in an important way, we will tell you in the app and, where the law requires it, ask you to agree again.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations and only for typical, foreseeable damage, as far as the law allows.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Leekday and delete your account at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice, or straight away for a serious breach of these terms.
11. Law and disputes
Austrian law applies, without its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
12. Privacy
How we handle your personal data, including health data, is explained in the Privacy Policy.
